Kids Clothing And Your Headache

By Jennifer Hess | June 28, 2009

Most of us are eventually going to start a family sooner or later. When that happens we may or may not have children. Finding proper kids clothing is a never ending task considering the rate at which they grow. But we have to provide for them and finding the right clothes for them to wear falls under that responsibility.

Besides your above mentioned responsibilities of feeding, bathing, and clothing them you will have a few more but those aren’t covered here. In many cases then ice fancy food you bought for your kids to eat is going to end up smeared all over their nice clothes. Detergent will be needed to keep these clothes in good shape. Keep in mind if it’s muddy, or can be climbed kids will be natural attracted to it.

Regardless kids love to play hard. Often they are running, jumping, climbing, rolling, and pretty much any action that might take them to trees, or dirt pits. As you can guess this make their clothing extremely dirty. Making sure you buy durable clothes is a big issue. There aren’t too many brands that can stand up to a 9 year old in the spring.

Of course in addition to everyday clothes to wear kids will need nice clothes for formal occasions. Buying fancy clothes for children can be a nightmare for children. Children hate wearing nice clothes because adults nit pick and them and tell them not to play or get them messy. As you can see kids do not like this.

Kids really just hate to wear nice fancy clothes. Many adults seem to forget they were children and don’t remember why they hated wearing clothes like this. Many parents will yell and scream at their children when they mess up their nice clothes. Regardless of how fancy the clothing is you shouldn’t yell at them for spilling something on it. They don’t have an understanding the cost of fancy stuff. Yelling at them for it isn’t really effective anyway.

What’s important to remember is that regardless of what you buy for them in about another month you’re going to have to buy another size. You might want to buy clothing that’s a size or two bigger than what they wear now so they will grow into it. It is kind of hard to stay one step ahead of them but it can help in the long run.

The types of clothing available for your children to wear are numerous and varied. Standard clothes might be more economical for you but you have to take into account they like cool stuff. Buying clothing with pictures of their favorite cartoon or movie characters on them will make them want to wear it more. This can be a good way to trick them into wearing something durable.

To wrap things up finding kids clothing that they are willing to wear is a bit tough. You have to do a tightrope balancing act, you have to by what they think is cool but what you think is best. It’s not going to be easy but raising kids isn’t. Clothing however will be the least of your concerns as time goes by and they get older.

For affordable kids clothing, the author Jennifer Hess who is a mother of 2 young children suggests you check out Growing Growing Gone. This online kids clothing store offers brand name clothing at wholesale prices for the baby, toddler, kid or teen in your life.
