Many people that do scuba diving plan their vacations around it such as going scuba diving in Aruba. The Caribbean is such a scenic place to go for any trip, but for scuba diving it is fascinating. There are even old ship wrecks to be found and explored. Just think how much fun swimming around these wrecks would be.

You will come across several of these shipwrecks around the island waters while scuba diving in Aruba. You can see the Blue Reef or the Debbie II, both are at a depth of 70 feet. At a shallow depth of 25 feet, you will be able to see as well the Pedernalis. This wreck is washbasins, cabins, and other parts of this particular oil tanker, which was sunk by a German torpedo in World War II.

Next spot is to the Jane Sea Wreck dive. This goes from a depth of 20 feet all the way down to 100 feet. It is a 250 feet long cement freighter which is located in an upright positioned in about 90 feet of water on the bottom.

A real interesting wreck is that of the Sonesta Airplane at the depth of 70 feet to 80 feet. It is a Convair 240 surrounded by colorful sponges and soft corals. Hurricane Lenny broke it up into 3 sections in 1999. This is definitely a must to see.

There is much to keep you beaming from wrecks, coral, to tropical fish in clear water. You might realize that you want to do scuba diving here more than once! One dive could not be enough to see the beautiful scenery. You will want to reserve several dives per trip, or better yet book several trips here!

Instead of carrying your own gear with you, you can even rent your equipment at the local dive shops. If you are a beginner, you can sign up for dive lessons to get certified. What beautiful surroundings to find out about scuba diving! An instructor will direct you through the whole process.

Known for being some of the whitest anywhere, the white sandy beaches here is where you can spend enjoyable, relaxing time. Take the lovely moment to also catch a sunset or two, which are breathtaking. When you combine all there is to see you will have an unbeatable Island vacation.
