Promotional Magnets Don’t Get Tossed Out

By Kris Ann | February 2, 2010 | Popularity: unranked (?)

You can get a lot of attention with a very small item. Some people honestly want nothing to do with using promotional products, but they will stick a magnet on something. They won’t be interested in your t-shirt or mug, but will hang up a magnet on the refrigerator at work or home. It will end up holding other items up and being seen for a long time.

Unlike paper items that tend to get lost in the shuffle, promotional magnets provide a long lasting way for your business information to hang around. Stuck to anything that is metal this type of promotion will not only serve to provide your customer or perspective customer with a useful, informational item, but will also serve as a constant, daily reminder of your business.

You can try giving the people that work in your sales department magnets that look just like their business cards. They will be able to give these to their customers that they see regularly. This would be good for those that deal with bars and restaurants because these types of businesses are forever ordering in a last minute rush and your card will be very handy if it is stuck to a cooler and close by at all times.

When your company is planning the next industry event that they will be involved with, consider these for your handout items. They can be made into a shape other than just a business card. These things end up on peoples refrigerators and file cabinets, so make something that is attractive. You can use cookie shapes, like hearts, stars or even gingerbread man looking cutouts. You want something that makes sense for your business too. So, be creative.

The best thing about using magnets is that they are always easy to find. You will never have your customers searching for these because you know they will be stuck in plain view. If someone has the choice of several companies to order from and needs something right quick, who do you think will get the call? A business whose info needs to be found or the one whose info is holding up a picture on the fridge.

Every business wants great logo merchandise. A magnet will be kept by recipients. You want above all for your imprinted logo items to be used and kept by your customers.
