Fast Weight Loss In 2 Easy Steps

By Clayton Thomas | December 19, 2008

Losing weight quickly and naturally sounds pretty good right? I don’t know what others have told you, but I can say this for sure, if you follow the right strategies and techniques, it won’t be hard to eliminate that extra fat! Many experts recommend dieting; however we all know that dieting is boring and unappetizing.

In case you didn’t know, there are other ways of burning fat besides dieting. This page will show the two best methods and how they work!

1. Diets that severely limit food intake don’t work: We all know our bodies aren’t meant to go too long without food, this is why staring yourself with an unhealthy diet plan can be counter productive. Dieting sounds like a good idea that should work, for example: if you go without food for long periods of time, you will lose excess body fat! But the minute you start eating regularly again, you will put on all the weight that you lost, if not more!

Biologically speaking, the human body is designed to combat any form of starvation. Back in the day, when you went without food for too long, your body would store fat deposits from whatever food you consumed in order to survive. Your metabolism would drastically slow down, which as you know, contributes to obesity. Nowadays our bodies are still designed to combat starvation in the same way, so if you starve yourself, you’ll slow down your metabolism so that when you do begin to eat normally again, your body will be store excess amounts of fat!

The rule is still the same: if you starve yourself, your body will think that it is dying. It will then take the only obvious step: it will slow down your metabolism in order to store fat for emergency calorie reserves! This is the reason why most dieters usually regain any weight they lose as soon as they get back to their normal eating habits!

If anyone tries to tell you that eating is the sole cause of weight gain, and that you should severely limit what you eat, I can tell you for sure that they are wrong. You’ll definitely gain weight if you DON’T eat! But you have to eat right; you can’t just load up on cookies, cake, and McDonalds and expect to lose fat.

2. Eating frequently is the secret to fast fat loss: Simply ‘eating’ is not enough for fast weight loss; you need to make sure that you are eating frequently as well! But don’t eat more than your normal diet, or eat even when you are not hungry. You should break down your large meals into smaller meals and spread them out throughout the day.

If you are like the majority of people, you will most likely eat three large meals over the course of a day. This slows down your metabolism and increases body fat! Instead, you should be separating those three large meals into six or seven smaller meals and eat every two or three hours.

This has two advantages. First, when your body gets frequent nourishment, it keeps your metabolism high, which means that you will lose fat fast. Second, frequent eating helps to suppress hunger, that way you won’t feel tempted to eat junk foods, no matter how delicious they are! So as you can see, portion control and timing is the key to success when it comes to weight loss!
