Increasing our physical activity as well as decreasing the amount of food we eat, will help you lose your belly fat. Our bodies can use the stored fat to fuel our muscles during activity.

Exercise activity such as resistance training, has shown to increase the body’s metabolism. When we increase our metabolic activity, our body is better able to utilize excess belly fat and convert it as fuel for the body to use.

Decreasing the amount of stress in our lives will help you lose your belly fat. Stress causes the production of a hormone called Cortisol, which has been linked to fat accumulation in the belly area during periods of stress.

To decrease stress in our lives, activities like deep breathing, tai chi, and yoga have all shown to reduce stress levels in people, who have high stress in their lives.

These simple tips to lose your belly fat are fairly simple, but it still needs commitment and discipline to be able to make changes in diet, increase physical activity as well as utilize stress management techniques to achieve the desired result of losing your belly fat.
