Living in today’s fashion conscious society both women and the new breed of metro sexual men are seeking ways to be body and image perfect. Having stout ankles or ‘cankles’ as they are more commonly known is something they want to cure and there are several ways of solving the issue.
In today’s modern body conscious society people are becoming increasingly worried about having cankles and are seeking ways to prevent and cure the problem. Although a person’s genes can determine their shape and where they retain stored energy and body fat you can try and reduce the ‘cankle’ affect
Bad circulation in the body can cause blood vessels not being able to carry the blood back from the foot area through the legs and around the body. Instead the cankle fills with blood and becomes swollen and uncomfortable giving you tired and sore feet. This is an obstacle to those who have a busy working life and the pain means them having to sit down and put their feet up.
Bloated and chubby ankles can be caused by poor circulation and is the source of embarrassment of women and also more recently men. People who are on their feet all day at work or working in the home find that blood will go into their ankle area but will have problems in not flowing sufficiently back through the blood vessels into the upper body.
Reverse your body’s centre of gravity by placing your legs up on to a pillow or sofa after a long days standing. The blood in your feet will rush back into your body away from your feet releasing the pressure in the ankle area.
Another method of improving poor circulation in your feet and ankles is simply by raising your feet above your heart. This is a very effective way of allowing the heart to pump this blood back around the body.
Heavy individuals often find that they tire easily, especially when on their feet all day. It is advisable for all of us to take a responsible approach to our health. We need to exercise well and eat sensibily.
