If you have a wrist fracture or injury, it can be very painful. You may experience warmth, swelling, discoloration and limited movement in your wrist.

A common way to hurt your wrist is if you fall on it. If the wrist is outstretched when you fall on it, you may sprain or strain the ligaments or muscles in your wrist. Or you may even break or crack one of the bones in your wrist if you fall hard.

Some of the most common wrist injuries and conditions are;

What can you do if you have a wrist injury or one of these conditions? You may want to consider using a wrist brace. Wrist braces can be used for a number of wrist injuries and conditions.

The brace can help keep your wrist stable which helps the healing process as well as relieving the pain. As your wrist is kept stable, damaged ligaments, tendons, muscles or bones can start to heal.

Using a brace also helps to prevent injury. If you have just had a cast removed, a brace can also help your wrist heal. Wrist braces can also help improve the way the joints in your wrist function.

Is a wrist brace uncomfortable to wear? Wrist braces are made to be comfortable as they fit the rest well. They are made from from materials and liners that make this possible. Some wrist braces are made form lightweight fabric, high quality elastic or breathable canvas.
