  • Training Techniques - Training The Largest Muscles (Part 2)

Nutrients like amino acids and vitamins are flushed through the body by water enabling them to bath the tissue efficiently and guaranteeing their well being. These conditions are ideal for great gains which wouldn't be possible in a low water intake environment. You should know too that the L-glutamine amino acid is the vital for muscle tissue development so make sure that your diet is well supplemented with L-glutamine if you want to take this sport seriously.
  • Training Techniques: Training The Largest muscles (Part 1)
In order to create a highly anabolic environment within the body, it is important that the largest muscles of the body (primarily those that are involved in the squat, deadlift, and even leg-pressing to a large extent, i.e. the muscles of the thigh, hip and lower back) are trained and stimulated to grow. Why? Since these muscles comprise such a large amount of the total muscle mass on the human body, any training stress of sufficient intensity to cause these muscles to grow will also place great stress on the body overall.
  • Building Massive Muscles
If you want to get incredible bicep mass you will have to do the standing barbell curl and the standing barbell cheat-curl exercises. The cheat curl actually means the use of a heavy weight that you normally can't lift in order to make the muscles of the upper body 'swing' the weight up, hence cheating, but you should only cheat enough to complete the curl. In this way The biceps are forced to work to the full throughout the movement.
  • Inside Bodybuilding ...Past and Present (Part 1)
I really am beginning to become fuming about bodybuilding and it's just like having haemorrhoids. Everywhere you look or read reading the sport you just keep seeing articles about poor physique standards and even worse is the attention being paid to the professional contests judging results.
  • Starting out Juicing (Part 1)
Should you be a bodybuilding novice or a teenager then you MUST read this article which will help you make a decision this will no doubtedly change the rest of your life. One of my opening questions would be, Are you too young? Check out some of the e-mails I have received from CHILDREN regarding Cycles.
  • Squats, Squatters And More Squatting (Part 1)
If someone tells you that they actually enjoy doing squats then they are either genetically gifted, a masochist or a dam right liar. Although the act of squatting is as natural to us as would be resting or having a dump, the actual movement of squatting low and then rising with an arched spine; while lifting a heavy weight which is crushing into our neck, is about as natural as most tits seen in Hollywood. This doesn't mean it is not an efficient exercise, but it certainly is an exercise you wan
  • Anabolic Steroids and your blood!!! (Part 2)
A weight trainer is not always too concerned about glucose, but what he doesn't realise is that medicine has an adverse affect on blood sugar levels. Combine with the higher intake of carbs compared to a normal person, these raised levels could point towards to beginning of diabetes.
  • Steroids and Your Blood (Part 1)
Even a weight trainer engaged in heavy lifting will return out of the norm results even with no use of anabolic steroids. Now we all know the liver is one of the most important organs in the body Duh! - they all are! Detoxification, numerous processes involved in the conversion of food for energy, growth and repair.
  • Bodybuilding and your Training Errors (Part 2)
It is a proven fact that our post training body has the ability to synthesis more protein. It is also a fact that our muscle tissue after training is a lot more sensitive to insulin and that the simple carbs tend to stock themselves up with glycogen rather than replenishing our body fat levels.
  • Bodybuilding and your Training Errors (Part 1)
Eating like a pigeon: This is really quite straight forward. You need an excess of calories in your diet in order to grow new tissues. If you see that you are not putting weight on, then quite simply eat more proteins, carbs and even fats.
  • Bodybuilding And Getting Mass Muscle
The underlying question is: What is the quickest way to make muscle gains? This question can be resolved in several ways, but the most effective way yet not the easiest will be considered in the following;-
  • Go Bananas With Bodybuilding
So forget an apple a day... If your energy levels really need toping up, nothing is better than a banana. Consisting of three natural sugars - fructose, glucose and sucrose - along with fibre, will give you a long lasting energy boost. Recent tests show that just two bananas can supply you with the required energy for an intense 90 minute workout. It won't surprise you then that the world's best athletes view the banana as being the number one fruit.
  • Bodybuilders and their Future (Part 3)
On 22nd May 2003, a Bodybuilder died. Scott Klein was found lying dead on his bed at 5.00am by his mother. He died of cardio-vascular disease and kidney failure. His death may have had absolutely nothing to do with bodybuilding, but 30 year old men do not die suddenly with kidney failure unless there is some known genetic weakness and, as far as I am aware, that was not the case here. In the same week that I heard about Scott Klein I read detailed reports of the illness of Tom Prince - another g
  • What is the Future for Bodybuilders? (Part 2)
Just fifty years back, drugs had yet to appear on the bodybuilding scene. It wasn't until the late 50s that we begin to hear about drug use in sport and by the early 60s Dianabol was being taken by bodybuilders. This coincided with the big drug companies seeing their opportunity of making big money through the development of their own steroid drugs most of which are still in use today. Things didn't quite turn out as expected though as the initial drug use reports appeared and many companies aba
  • Bodybuilders and their Future (Part 1)
It is a common fact that Bodybuilders are not immortal and have to die at some stage, but this Bodybuilder was barely 30 years old. Although he was relatively unknown on the world scene as a bodybuilder, he was a U.S state heavyweight champion and one of the best at national level.
  • Too Young to use (Part 3)
I was so proud of myself when I reached 21, having grown a further 2 inches and now I really did feel prepared to start cycles both mentally and physically. Up till now I had done it the hard way without drugs and now I was more determined than ever to succeed. It is so important to push yourself to the limit and work hard on eating...I managed to get up to 7 meals a day.
  • Starting out Juicing (Part 2)
So tell me, when can I commence and why? Well I would always say 21 is a recommended age to start. And why?....Well basically in a male up til 21, the natural level of testosterone is high which causes sparadic growth spurts, which means that bones, muscle tissue etc. are still not fully developed and body maturity is still incomplete.
  • Too Young to use Creatine (Part 2)
So when can I begin? And why? I would recommend around 21. As a teenager, a high level of testosterone is naturally present, which cause sparadic growth spurts in males. During this time period the body as a whole has not completely matured including bones, muscle tissue and internal body organs.
  • When to start using Creatine (Part 1)
Should you be a bodybuilding novice or a teenager then you MUST read this article which will help you make a decision this will no doubtedly change the rest of your life. One of my opening questions would be, Are you too young? Check out some of the e-mails I have received from CHILDREN regarding Cycles.
  • Teenagers and Weight Training (part 2)
Carrying on from part 1, I would insist on weight training exercises being light to medium , that means no heavy low squats or dead lifts and avoid any spine bending exercise. Start off with fun type exercises without putting them through any ordeal, and never make them train against their will. Try out free standing excercises, flexibility work and teamwork skills through sporting activities.
  • Weight Training for Teenagers (part 1)
Creating an acceptable image is what motivates teenagers in the modern world. But the pressure to achieve success can be extreme and a physical image needs dedication to a point that the agony of defeat can lead to suicidal despondency. With the additional battle against adolescent hormones, spots and pimples appear just to make life even more difficult and every straw is clutched inorder to get within the acceptable norm physically.

  • Healthy Habits for increasing Muscle Mass
In order to get the best results from your workouts, it is a fact that you must make available to your body all the necessary vitamins and minerals in addition to enough of the major components of the diet i.e. protein, carbohydrate and fats and oils (lipids). The proteins, carbohydrates and lipids are the 'macro-nutrients' of the diet since they are consumed in much larger amounts compared to the 'micro-nutrients' which are the vitamins, minerals and other biological substances consumed in much
