Honesty is key to creating a relationship between you and potential clients. If visitors to your site feel you are an honest ethical business person they will most likely spend their money on your product, but if they should feel that there is shady handlings going on they will take their money and run.

Your "online traffic formula" should include knowing the importance of honest business dealings. I myself, Trisha Frauenhofer make it a point to go the extra mile in letting my clients feel safe in their transactions with me.

Cheating customers by selling your products for pennies and charging extremely high shipping costs is something that no customer likes to see.

Exorbitant shipping costs will cause customers to feel that you are being unethical and many will choose to back out of buying the product and go elsewhere. When you shopped online, wasn't it nice when you ordered something and found out shipping was free or just a few dollars.

Always strive to sell quality products at reasonable prices. They will sell quicker than cheap products with high prices or very low prices products with very high shipping costs.

If you choose to be fair to your customers they will recognize this and put their whole hearted trust in you. You will find that they will return to you for many of their online needs, and most likely refer your business to friends and family.

With so much customer feedback on the net, your reputation is on the line. You want to always be honest and ethical with all of your business dealings. If you do, you gain twice the customers and sales than you originally would have expected.
