Which MySpace tool is what I need
By: Jeffrey A Solochek
MySpace is probably the largest social networking site on the entire planet. Over 300 million users and membership is growing by several hundred thousand each and every day. A lot of third party developers have created some great specialized tools to help make MySpace easier for you.. these tools can save you a lot of time but which tool should you use?
The most basic feature of the site MySpace is the feature of adding friends. But look at all the traffic they get each day and just think of the bandwidth they are using. You may experience slow periods using the site MySpace which can make the job of requesting friends a little more time consuming than normal. There are a lot of MySpace Bots out there that are just friend adders plus there are a few sites that can help speed up the process of adding friends greatly.
I have tried to use the MySpace profile updater but this thing on MySpace takes easy and makes it impossible. I, today, tried to add my graduating high school to my MySpace profile and tried over 4 times and each time it still asked me to add my high school. Somebody has told me that it can take a few days for the changes I requested to actually take place. To get around this headache you need to look for a Bot with a Profile Updater.
One of the great things MySpace has done is to allow every profile to have their own MySpace blog. Most of the MySpace Bots out there have no blog poster feature and this is a great feature that they need. MySpace already gets a lot of traffic so the chances of your MySpace blog getting traffic are much improved over having a blog on Blogger.
Let's say you are a member of a sorority and each student has a MySpace profile. Now to use the MySpace site each student would have to log onto their profile individually but some of these Bots allow you to do account chaining which means that if your group has 50 Profiles and you want to send a message to each profiles friends you can chain them all together so that the sending of messages is much faster and a lot less time consuming.
There are so many sites out there that are giving away free MySpace layouts. Now you can search for these sites individually using your Internet Explorer but again this can become time consuming. Some Bot developers have software that will actually grab the profiles and download them for you. These are known as profile grabbers.
If you want to do any marketing on MySpace or you are a member of a large group then you might want to look for an account creator. Now I am a man and I can create a profile with my picture on it but unless I have a resemblance to somebody like Brad Pitt then I will not get a large network of friends. If you want a profile thats going to get a lot of attention then you need to get an account creator to create account of these young college girls. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and if your profile has a picture of a great looking lady in a Bikini then that picture is worth more like several thousand words.
If you have like 50 accounts and want to send a message to all of the friends for these 50 profiles then you need to make sure that each profile sends out a different message otherwise your profile may get deleted by MySpace. A message randomize can be a great tool because you will never have to worry about the same message being sent out over and over again.
MySpace has what is referred to as a CAPTCHA for account creating and message sending. The reason for this is because they know that almost all of the software that is out there is not able to bypass the CAPTCHA. CAPTCHA is telling MySpace that an actual person is creating the account manually. There used to be several Bots out there that offered CAPTCHA bypass but MySpace is constantly making changes to their site and now any software that has CAPTCHA bypass is going to be expensive.
If you are a member of a band and all you want to do on MySpace is have one profile and add friends that like your music then you may only need to use a Bot that has a friend adder. If you are a marketer and have 10 profiles on MySpace each with 10,000 friends then do you realize how easy it will be to send a message to those 100,000 as opposed to sending out a newsletter to 100,000? You can get one Bot for each different tool you may need but wouldn't it be a lot easier if you could find something out there that was an all in one suite?
