Using Blog and RSS directories to get traffic to your blog.

With 1000's of blog being created each week it is getting harder to get organic web traffic to your blogs. Many blog dye a slow death due to a lack of visitors during the first few months of there life. So generating a good number of traffic pipe lines is a vital task early on in your blogs life.
Lets look at one good organic traffic for your blog. These are Blog and RSS feed directories; quite simply these are list of blogs and blog RSS feeds which can be searched by surfers. You can harness their power by registering your blog with them; what's more you only have to do it once for it to be effective.
What's the pay back for registering?
Getting a back link from high page rank sites. Most directories have a high page rank so getting back links from them will improve your blogs page rank. From their high page rank directories have a massive amount of organic traffic. By registering your blog you will traffic from these searches.
You need to get organised with your blog info in a text file ready to put in to the subscription forms on the directories. Give your self a couple of hour's quite time to go through the process of submitting to the directories. I always try and do it in one hit as this makes the task easier to complete.
The info you will need is your URL address, Blog Title, description and RSS feed URL. Have these in a text doc ready to be copied in to the fields in the submit forms. By being prepaid like this you will save valuable time in completing this process.
As with all traffic building strategies it takes some time to see results so you should not expect a massive increase over night. Keep checking on a weekly basis to and you will see your traffic slowly building.
Work every day at taking small steps to building traffic pipelines to your blog. Slowly they will build up from a trickle to a flow and beyond.
