Three of a Kind: Repetition as Persuasion

It starts in the womb with the thump of the mothers' heartbeat. Then come lullabies, rocking chairs, and bouncing the baby for relaxation. Rhythms lull us. Rhythms soothe.
The goal of repetition in threes is to establish a rhythm so that we can embed suggestions.
The number three has symbolic power in our society. Think of the Holy Trinity. The father, the son, and the Holy Spirit.
Repetition in three works on a subconscious level in reference to religion. If the people you are trying to persuade are highly religious, this can have a powerful impact on them.
This can be thought of in terms of humanist psychology as well--id, ego, super ego or conscious, subconscious, super conscious mind.
Here is an example of several repetitions in three. See if you can find them. Today, there are a few things that I believe so strongly that I want to emphasize so profoundly, that I believe in with all my heart, that I'm going to do my best to try to take the position of a father who's giving this information to his beloved son in such a way that he can infuse his heart with the spirit of the message such that it's really understood through and through and there is a resulting change, such that today, by the time we've gone through this process together, you will experience this information in a whole new way.
Not only will you be thrilled by it, not only will you feel incredible about it, not only will you have a sense of comprehension that you've never had before, but you'll begin to experience how it will work in your life. Now I want you to understand that for me this is a mission, it's a mission that I live my life for every day. See, my dad taught me something important when I was young, he said, 'Kenrick, if you love what you do for a living, you'll never work a day in your life.'
My father also taught me that if you don't like what you do then every day will be a struggle and a hassle. So I realized early on I had to love it and it's my mission to help people understand these principles just like I do so that they can have a change of life, they can completely accept into their heart a new way of existing, a new way of dealing with this subject matter and that's my goal for us today as we talk.
Let's analyze the previous three paragraphs. One, there's all sorts of religious symbolism in there. I used the father, son and Holy Spirit symbolism to infuse you with that sense.
The second benefit, and one of the main reasons this works, is that I'm repeating my message over and over. I use this to repeat the things I most want installed.
And thirdly, spoken in a soothing cadence, with emphasis on the proper words, repetition in three utilizes the lullaby rhythm that helps put our affluent prospects in a very receptive mode so that persuasion is inevitable.
