The Hub of Artistic Expression in Minneapolis
By: Juble.com
Art is a strange and original concept in everyone that enjoys it. One person might love to gaze longingly at a painting of a remote forest scene is some faraway location, while another might find him or herself enthralled at every little detail of a magnificent sculpture of a roman soldier. When it comes to art, beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder. Regardless of your personal preferences in the vast array of possible artistic outlets, you will find your own personal favorite at the Weisman Art Museum in Minneapolis Minnesota. http://juble.com/
The choice of art at this esteemed establishment is as diverse as the artists whose work is always on display here. When approaching the Weisman Art Museum, you will lose any doubt that you are about to embark upon a great creative adventure. The building itself is as much a work of art as that on display within. It is a modern work of architecture genius in that it is a wonderfully majestic mix of brick and steel entwined to create a masterfully exotic inspired creation. You will find yourself spending quite a while merely admiring the craftsmanship here. Nevertheless, you will inevitably have to journey within the building as your creative fire has been kindled.
Of the many wonderful exhibits within the Weisman Museum of Art, one of the local favorites is that of the ceramics. The works of artisans on display here range everywhere from modern to four hundred B.C. There are over two thousand amazing works of ceramic arts for your viewing pleasure here. Many of these fantastic artistic clay creations are from other locations throughout the entire world spanning one culture after another.
Another popular cultural exhibit is that of the Korean Furniture. The Asian culture has always had a particularly interesting artistic stance on furniture creation, holding on to the artistic end of it instead of the convenience. The various types, styles, and forms of Korean furniture that you will see here are from a wide variety of ages, some dating back to 650 B.C., and some being more modern. The interesting aspect that one tends to pick up on quickly when viewing this exhibit is that throughout the ages, the style of furnishings created by the Korean culture has not changed all that much. This ethnicity seems to have maintained the artistic aspect of carpentry throughout the centuries. http://juble.com/
As you move on through this magnificent museum you will find art in every form and from a massive variety of cultures and ages. There is the more popular art form of American Modern Art, and then exhibits as historically appropriate as Pottery. On top of that, you can always expect at least four or five temporary exhibits and collections to be moving through the museum during any given visit.
Regardless if you are aware of yours or not, everyone has a creative aspect to their heart and soul. There is some small part of us that wants to make or enjoy something beautiful and new. This is referred to as our Muses. Feed your muse this year at the Weisman Museum of Art in Minneapolis Minnesota.
