Starting from the Beginning

I've said it before, and I'll say it many times: Persuasion is first and foremost the study of human nature. And despite the things that are understandable about human nature, we are still very intricate and complex creatures. If all things were equal, there would still be some people who excel and others who get stuck.
We've all been in ruts, holding patterns, complacent and just plain stuck. This can happen in all aspects of our lives--business, sales, relationships. The first thing to do to get unstuck, is to begin the process of change by hook or by crook.
We're inundated from all fronts. There are things we want for ourselves, things we want to change, but it can feel daunting to face big goals. My advice is the age old cliche of one day at a time. When we begin at the beginning and make small advances each day, before you know it, you can add up the small amounts and they become a significant change.
"If you could get up the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed." I love this quote by David Viscott. And you have the courage to begin. I know this, because you're already reading this article about changing. You've begun the internal shift from a complacent state to a new way.
More and more my focus in MaxPersuasion has really begun to focus on the work we do with the affluent clientle we're looking to persuade and as we move forward, I'm going to aim, with laser-like precision, at just this target audience. Why not focus solely on the affluent? They're the ones with money.
And still, in Max Persuasion, I focus on the fundamentals of human nature. We learn persuasion practicing on ourselves. If we can't persuade ourselves, it's highly improbable that we'll be able to persuade the affluent. We are our own guinea pigs.
With that said, we explore a huge variety of techniques from mapping out our personal, business and public universes in order to learn to manifest exactly what we want to investigating our relationships with intention so as to set ourselves up for success every single time we put our minds to it. We work on clearing out our subconscious minds, eliminating distractions and the things that hold us back, at the same time learning how to communicate with our other than conscious to aid us in our learnings. And we use an unbelievably revolutionary technique to tap out emotional resistance in ourselves which I credit for being one of the top three triggers in the shedding of 140 pounds of extra weight I had been carrying for years.
