Small Girl Tattoo Designs: Little Space, Big Impact

By: Tim Croy

Choosing a tattoo can be a painfully tedious process. Many factors are involved, including pain, cost, design, location, and size. One way to resolve many of these simultaneously is to consider small girl tattoo designs.

For those whose budget is limited, making cost a serious consideration, small tattoos are an excellent option. In the case of tattoos, the obvious is very true: people get what they pay for. People who select larger designs have more of their bodies covered in ink, so the design will cost them more. Using this same reasoning process, smaller tattoos are less expensive.

Another thing to consider is your tolerance for pain. Are you tough and ready to endure hours under the tattoo gun, subjected to thousands of needle pricks? If not, a small design is probably a better choice. Tattooing less skin means less skin will hurt in the morning.

What bodily location are you considering? The location of a tattoo means everything. This will largely determine what type of design you decide to use. Conversely, the type of design you decide on can also define the location you select. Be sure to evaluate thoroughly how a particular design might look in the place you are thinking about having it applied.

People who decide to have their backs tattooed have virtually no design limitations. Backs are broad, and the skin here is very smooth, and it is easily accessible for tattoo artists. Choosing this location doesn't necessarily mean you are obligated to a large design, however; placing a small design here can also be a powerful statement.

Maybe you're thinking about getting your tattoo on your ankle, like many girls do. If this applies to you, then a smaller design is definitely best. The ankle is, quite simply, a small body part, and you just can't fit a large design in that space.

Consider both practical and aesthetic aspects of your tattoo. If you have found a special design on the internet that you really want, make sure the price is right and that the tattoo will fit well on the bodily location you have chosen. Even masterpieces can result in disaster if they are placed in the wrong location.

As you remember all of these things, remember that the most important issue in all of this is how well you like the design you have chosen. A nearly countless array of small girl tattoo designs is available, so find the one that is best for you and your lifestyle.
