Always remember the grout while you are choosing a new tile floor. I know this seems like a small matter but I have to tell you that deciding on the broadness and color of the grout will have a bearing on your new floor's look.

Remember the below stated five points prior to the grouting application on your new tile floor:

1. Choose the appropriate shade: Regardless of the how thick the grout is, I would always recommend you to select a color that will go well with the decoration and tile in your home. Nowadays, there are numerous colors to select from. Make sure that you select the color that will merge well or you can even opt for a different shade that would highlight the spacing among the tiles.

2. Buy the right instruments: If you want the sealing to be done successfully and effectively then it is important that you have the right instruments. Buy a grout of excellent quality in order to ensure durability. The application of grout requires certain instruments like trowel, spatula or a palette knife that will minimize the untidiness on you as well as on the floor. You can also maintain the level of the grout by make use of such instruments.

3. Spacing: It is not an easy task to space the tile and grout. For this you will need a lot of endurance to make sure that the tiles appear to have an even spacing. I would suggest you to take your time to arrange the tiles, in order to space them properly, prior to using pasting glue on them. 5. Preservation: It is important that you clean and preserve the grout just like you would maintain the tiles. Actually, the grout will need more care as it accumulates dirt more rapidly than the exterior of the tiles. In case the grout is not on the same level as the tiles then it may so happen that the mop may not be able to clean some stain or dirt. Bacteria and dirt can be accumulated in the holes or cracks of the grout.
