Promote Your Ebook Through Clickbank Squeeze Pages
By: Stephen Beck
Ebook sharing is easy with ClickBank. When you list your ebook on ClickBank, affiliates will sell it to earn a commission. This is like having a small army of passionate salespeople! When you place your ebook on ClickBank, use a link that sends buyers to a squeeze page. Sending them straight to the sales page, instead of a squeeze page, deprives you of a valuable opportunity to collect their email addresses.
ClickBank use to give people fits about that but they since stopped. There are a few reasons ClickBank has changed their stance on squeeze pages. Many affiliates thought, "I don't want a squeeze page there because it will diminish sales and I don't want to send people to your squeeze page." If they're unwilling to give you a first name and an email, what are the chances they're really want to buy anything anyway.
During your big e-book launch, the squeeze page will help you to collect names and emails of people who are interested in your topic. This will provide you with an eager audience for future launches. This contact information can also help you follow up with your customers. You can plan a marketing campaign which automatically emails visitors, providing a massive ebook promotion.
You can build a powerful list of contacts using the humble squeeze page to collect information. It is a prime opportunity to market your ebook to those who are already interested in this niche. While a visitor may not make a purchase on the first visit, subsequent emails explaining the benefits of your wonderful ebook may just change your visitor’s mind.
Long ago, one of my major partners flat-out refused to send customers to my squeeze page. He claimed that it would diminish sales. I buckled, regrettably, and agreed to remove my squeeze page.
There were probably 2,000 people who want through that site and only 200 bought, which was still a pretty good percentage. But I missed out on 1800 emails just because that guy told me to not to use a squeeze page. In hind sight, I told him later, look we might have had a chance to sell some of those 1800 people if I had an email to follow up and produce a sale.
A squeeze page has many benefits. It’s a great opportunity to develop new prospects for your products, follow up with visitors, and improve the sales of your ebook.
