Look for a pet in a new placethe internet! 

Kids and pets mix really well! They keep each other entertained, busy and out from under my feet, which is why I love my two sons, Max and Sam, having pets. At present, we have a cat called Max, who recently underwent a small "removal" operation, meaning that he sleeps all of the time, and we have a couple of goldfish, who are, quite frankly, rather boring. So, I thought it was about time we added another addition to our growing clan. I was on the look out for a new pet!
This is what happened to me. Me and my two children, Max and Sam, already had one cat and a couple of goldfish, but the goldfish just swam around in circles and the cat just slept all day, especially after we had the poor little thing neutered! So, it was time to find a new pet for my lovely kids, and not to replace the ones we already had, but to add to them. We are a family of pet lovers, and I could home every stray in the world, if only I had the room and the money, but I can't, so we decided to have a look and see what new pet we could add to our collection.
I've never actually owned a dog before, so I knew the best thing to do would be to find out the best breeds that would go along with my children and also the pets we already owned, just to make sure we weren't in for any nasty surprises. The site not only told me the best breeds for me and my family, but also told me how to care for them, by breed, size of dog etc. It also contains information like this for other pets as well, birds, cats and horses to be more specific.
I have never owned a dog before, so I wanted to find out about different breeds and which ones would better suit my family, and the pets that we already had. This site not only put me in the right direction to find a new dog, but enabled me to find out as much information as I needed to accommodate a new dog. Not only can they inform you of dogs, however, they can also tell you general information and how to care for cats, horses and even birds, and all while matching up little pets with their new potential owners!
The pet forum on Findapetonline.com was great, and enabled you to find out exactly where the new pet was coming from and all you needed to know about it. It was fun talking to people, and I learnt more than what I would have learned from informational sites alone.
This site, in my eyes, is one of the best sites out there, not only because it can provide a wealth of information to those who would like to get, or already have pets, and can also match you up with a pet ad by your location, preferences and much more. To me, it saves the unfortunate incidents of pets being abandoned and left to die because owners simply cannot care for them. After all, we have all seen the commercials on television!
It is information such as this that can help make or break the decision over choosing your new pet. It will also mean that you are as prepared as you can be prior to getting the cat, dog, birds or horses, and will make the process of getting one much easier.
I found my new dog on this great website, and my kids love him. The new addition to my family is a cute little boxer dog called Geoff, (my son's choice of name!) and he has settled in perfectly. I just hope you too can be so lucky!
