Just Some Information on Music

Now, each week when I begin my workshops, I play a different song to emphasize the importance of music in our lives. Live Music - we all love it in one form or another, whether a classical orchestral concert or a Rock concert in a baseball stadium or somewhere in between, nothing quite gets the juices flowing than hearing your favorite song played live. This brings together the art and love of music.

Once the mechanical music industry was started and settled, trade was brisk and further developments with musical boxes continued to improve until they reached their peak in 1870. In the early days karaoke music was delivered by cassette but the times they are a changing and technology now means new means of delivery which include VCD's, CD's, DVD's and KTV boxes.

Licensing your music for use with television, film, advertising, websites, video games and other multimedia will open up your listening audience, provide revenue and introduce a degree of professionalism to your career that attracts the notice of industry reps and A&R. And if you own a website or blog provide a link to your website and newsletters to all of the sites you use to promote your music.

If karaoke as party music does not appeal to you, consider hiring a disc jockey or a band, so you will not have to leave your guests to change CDs, or worse yet, have guests attempting to change the music themselves. Whenever possible, party music should be used, not just as entertainment, but as an interactive game for your guests to insure that they will have plenty to do, a lot of laughs, and you will be surprised how even the most introverted partygoer can come alive behind a karaoke machine. At the reception, you can choose from live band music, music from duo or trio performers, or perhaps you can just settle on recorded music to be played by a disc jockey.

As a music lover, you may know that DJ's play a major role in giving out the best music. Now regardless of what music genre a DJ specializes in, the key to the event is not the actual songs themselves but the mix that the DJ puts together. Most DJs have a set routine for how the night will play out according to music, sound, lighting and other effects such as bubbles, background buzz, DJ banter and audience participation.

And over the past three years in particular the Sauti za Busara (The Sounds of Wisdom) music festival is becoming increasingly popular from within Tanzania and from overseas. While I applaud the Essence Music Festival for providing a platform to discuss the portrayal of black women in popular media, it is essential that we take action that will begin to make a difference in our lives in the form of music.

If you want to create midi tracks, you can put the musical notes on a staff with the mouse, if you know music theory, or you can connect an electric keyboard to your PC and play the tracks, setting each track with the sound of the desired instrument. Artists and Repertoire Development: Recording companies put as much available money as possible into developing their groups and music, the musical repertoire and quality, to promote concerts and organize tours, to prepare the merchandising. So let's get the most out the music industry since music will never dry out.
