Like cited previously, the computer is an integral part of our life because we employ it to achieve the a lot our daily activities. We employ it for work, we employ it for school, and we employ the computer when we use it to communicate with friends and the family via the Internet. But when this machine ceases functioning on a good level of performance, we get easily irritated.

To solve this common problem, here are three effective ways to improve the speed of your computer.

1. Upgrade your RAM

As your computer increases in age, you may have noticed that it has problems running newer software. Because new software is designed to take advantage of the newest, fastest computers, those who don't meet the optimal requirements for operation might encounter slower speeds or long pauses. One easy fix for the problem is to simply add more RAM. Adding RAM, which stands for Random Access Memory, can actually boost your computer's speed by quite a bit and can help to reduce or eliminate any slowness you are encountering.

2. Clean Your Computer's Registry

The registry is not an area of the computer that most PC users are familiar with, but it plays a very important role in how well your computer performs. The registry is made up of small files called registry keys, which instruct your computer on how to perform various functions. Over time, the processes of the registry can become bogged down with corrupted or outdated files, which can increase the work your computer needs to do to and slow down its performance. However, you can do a bit of cleaning on your registry and eliminate these problems by using registry cleaner software. Once the software fixes any problems that may be present, you should see an increase in the speed of your computer.

3. Do not Have Too Many Programs Running

Since our lives are very fast-paced, we tend to multitask in order to get things done efficiently and effectively. However, our computer slows down by doing this. Each computer has its own limits as to how many programs it can manage at the same time, so if we abuse it, then this causes the machine to reduce its speed. So you must make sure that you are not running multiple programs at the same time if you want your computer to operate faster.
