Front Sight Firearms Training Institute Encourages America To Realize Opportunity

By: Jayden Adams

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, the nation's largest gun training academy, has been encouraging Americans for years to realize the potential which lay in a country like ours to have complete freedom, complete responsibility and complete safety. According to Front Sight, and Front Sight's founder and director, Ignatius Piazza, America has the opportunity for all these things through nothing short of gun training. Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight point to two key factors when citing that gun training and firearms training sets America and American's opportunity apart from any other. One, firearms training - like all other forms of training - empowers the individual and makes them safe. The more training one receives, the more safe one is, until one and one's loved ones are entirely safe in any given situation. Two, the rights laid down in the Second Amendment were clearly so important to the brilliant men who gave birth to this great nation, that they put it before all other rights beholden to citizens of America except those in the First.

Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza are firm believers in the nigh-sanctity of the U.S. Constitution. Being proponents of the First Amendment themselves, they understand the absolute necessity of the Second Amendment to follow from that: no one shall ever have his voice heard above that of the government, no one shall ever be read or seen above the weight of the government, without the citizenry's right to own, carry and use firearms.

Despite being very, very supportive of gun rights, Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight go to further measures to be demanding of gun responsibility. It could be said that Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight demand gun rights from the government (and well they should, according to the Founders, they're God-given and God-like), but more than that, they demand gun responsibility from those who would utilize those rights. Gun ownership is not easy, and gun training and extensive firearms training is necessary for any who would desire to have and use any sort of firearm, in the eyes of Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight.

Taking all these factors into account, one can see quite easily that Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight were quite interested when the U.S. Supreme Court decided to accept the case of District of Columbia v. Heller, a case based in the District of Columbia which could have huge ramifications on not only the firearms training industry, but the gun industry and all affairs related to the Second Amendment. Heller is a man who tried to challenge the constitutionality of a Washington, D.C. ban on handguns by purchasing a handgun in a police capacity. He was denied, and he sued the District of Columbia. The U.S. Supreme Court accepting the case shows its significance to the entire country.

Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight are professionals in the realm of gun training and firearms training. Training more students annually than all other major shooting schools in the nation combined puts one into a position of authority. As such, it is time for America to listen up not only to Front Sight, but also to the U.S. Supreme Court, and see what they will say.

Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza say that firearms rights must be sacrosanct, the question is whether or not the U.S. Supreme Court will agree.
