Each person has their own interests and hobbies. Music is an interest that is shared by millions around the world. Many millions of people play musical instruments of all sorts.
People play keyboards, drums, guitars, brass, and so many other instruments. Many great players started playing at a young age.
Advancing your guitar skill will take some practice, however you can learn the basics fairly easily. Guitar is easy to play, but hard to get a good grasp on.
Tones and chords are normally the basis for any new guitar player. Most people can play a chord or two without some practice.
There are a few variations when it comes to pickups in a guitar:
1. Acoustic Guitar: this guitar is used when you want to increase the sound output and not have any true tone. The choice selection doesn't offer much.
2. Hum Bucker: this is a great guitar for producing a powerful tone. They are used for blues as well as rock music.
3. Single Coil: the most famous example of this guitar type would be a Fender Stratocaster. Many beginners use this type of guitar as it is suited for learning.
There are thousands of websites which can help you narrow down the best choice of guitar for your own needs. Picking the right instrument isn't rocket science, it just takes a bit of time.
If you are a beginner than you should consider learning the blues scale. The best thing about this tone is that it is easy and it gives off a nice sound. Almost 90% of the people who play guitar like to play the blues scale.
If you are stuck on the blues scale, seek some help from others. Ask about hand position as this is where you may be lacking.
