All hopeful models out there better get ready, because the casting calls for America’s Next Top Model are still going strong, with producers and network representatives continuing to scour towns and cities throughout the United States. It’s also been stated by the CW Network that they plan to have the show’s run last all the way up to 2010, with two rounds of the series every year. Among the towns they’ve canvassed so far are Norfolk, Shreveport, Philadelphia, Quincy, and Danbury, to name just a few. Tyra Banks is also set to continue hosting the reality series, taking the contestants on a whirlwind tour through the world of fashion modeling.
The rules for the auditions continue to apply, such as the age bracket of 18 to 27 for applicants. They must also be certified citizens of the United States, as well as meet the height requirement of 5’ 7”. There are also a number of other requirements needed to try out for the show, such as a swimsuit photo, a headshot, and a full-length photo of one’s self. The producers likewise need contestants to carefully read through a release and waiver form, plus additional photo identification, before they’ll even be considered for a videotaped audition.
Local representatives and associates of the CW Network have been conducting and videotaping the auditions, before sending them along to the producers. And so far, one confirmed candidate has been selected among numerous contenders during the screening process in Texoma, Oklahoma. Tiffany Legg is a young woman hailing from the town of Duncan in Oklahoma, and she is set to continue onward to the regional semifinals. This event will be held on the 18th of August in Houston, Texas, on a Saturday. More information on applying for the competition can be found online, mainly in the websites of local CW affiliate stations spread throughout the different regions.
