Of course, when you go looking for them, you will find many more paid ones than free website templates. But, with a little patience and more research you will be able to find them. And, they are certainly worth the effort because they are not only free but have a lot of features and benefits that you cannot ignore.
Free website templates are free, which is a great advantage, especially when you are just starting a website. But, besides that, they are designed by talented designers. Indeed, many times they are designed by the same designers who create the code custom sites.
The only difference is that everyone can use the free website templates so there is a lot of repetition. But you do get the same quality. Also, there are so many templates available every day as new platforms are introduced that you don't really have to worry about repetition anymore.
Once you find a good high quality website template the basics of the design are ready to go. Plus, you can actually add custom elements to anything you get so it doesn't have to fit perfectly from the start. This will save you a lot of money but also, it will save you a lot of time and you won't have to put as much effort into it. In the end, it's always easier to change a site that already exists then to create one from the beginning.
Often, it is their reputation that comes in the way. Just because they are free they are considered to be of poor quality. There may be some truth in this belief, but they are only exceptions and not the rule. As a rule, free websites templates are mostly of good quality.

Of course, there is the problem of everyone using the same free website templates, including your competition. This is a matter of concern because you would naturally want your website to have a unique look on the Internet. If your website looks like any other on the Internet, you really don't gain much. But, there is a way to overcome this deficiency; you can always customize a free website template to suit your needs.
The quality of free web site templates can be quite different in different places. You will have to do some research to find a good template that works for your business but also is of a good quality. Even if you do not know how to code yourself, have a basic understanding of some coding languages so that customization will be possible. This will ensure that you are on top of any problems or glitches that may arise.
