Aged Leads - Do They Really Work?

First off, what are "aged Leads"? It's a term I coined for leads that are not so fresh anymore. How they came about was one day I got a call from a visitor to my site and he asked did I have any old leads for sale. I had tons of them but had never offered them for sale as it never occurred to me that anyone would want them.

We struck a deal and he bought 500. A few days later he called back and wanted another 2,000. I must admit, I was really surprised and asked him how come he wanted so many. He said he had great success calling these old leads because "half of them had never been contacted before"

It really blew my mind that so many leads were not being contacted. Since then I've even had leads call me and complain that no one had called them. I've also learned from a bunch of big time networkers that they nearly always use aged leads for the same reason.

A personal friend of mine has a huge downline numbering in the many thousands and he always uses aged leads.

Of course, he has a very good phone technique that has been honed by following the teachings of a well known MLM trainer who specializes in teaching how to contact leads. I recommend that anyone serious about building a MLM business do the same.

Newly sponsored people should also be encouraged to use aged leads so they don't go slashing their wrists when they blow the call, which you know as well as I do, they will for sure  That's how they learn. But how happy will they be when out of the aged leads they find a rough diamond and sponsor them!

Emailing aged leads is also an acceptable and effective method of contact. Reputable leads companies will always provide full contact information with leads, including the time/date stamp and IP address. This provides proof the lead opted in and gave permission to be contacted.

There is a bit of an art to contacting leads via email. Make sure you come on slow and easy . This will help you build a good relationship. Provide them with good content that is interesting and informative.

Finally, aged leads are an amazingly profitable means to expanding your business into a new country. Being from a different country than the prospect you have a lot of status and they will listen to you.
