Even if your new job location is in the same state, moving can become a disaster without proper planning. In the many times of moving and relocating and with having to hire moving companies, the process feels so overwhelming and intimidating. Make sure you do some homework as to who will do the move for you. Also consider your cars, you wont be leaving them behind.
Before you move, you need to consider some things about the process. It's always difficult to put your trust in a company or even a person that you never met. Let's face it you have to have faith and trust that all your personal possessions will arrive at the planned destination when you expect them to and within a reasonable and fair price. That is why its so important to get yourself several quotes first.
This is one of the most important points you need to consider before relocating as recessions and unemployment occur everywhere. If the new location has a wider assortment of employment options, your chances are better for future opportunities. If you are moving because you just want to , don't be fooled by the fact that you can just show up and all will be well.

Aside from schools, make sure this area also has other activities that you can do there after work or during your time off, such as a good mall with a good movie theater, regular shopping centers, and the close proximity of some "fun" places where you can go get away from it all for short periods of time.

I know for me and I'm sure you have heard them too, so many stories from friends and family members and their experiences with movers and how unsuspecting you can be to some details you probably would never consider.
